BTIS Virtual Training

Basic Tobacco Intervention Skills training is culturally tailored to distinguish between the use of traditional and commercial tobacco in Native American communities and emphasize evidence-based techniques to increase the rates of successful interventions resulting in the cessation of commercial tobacco use.

    In partnership with the Albuquerque Area Southwest Tribal Epidemiology Center (AASTEC), Cowlitz Indian Tribe Health Services, Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan, Inc., University of Arizona HealthCare Partnership, and the Indian Health Service Health Albuquerque and Portland Area Promotion Disease Prevention and Portland Area Behavioral Health Program we are offering this Continuing Education Unit eligible training to all that are interested at no cost to you. Upon successful completion of the training, all eligible participants will receive certification from the University of Arizona HealthCare Partnership.
